Thanks. The '12 3's dipstick is blank and just has a circle at the top and bottom. The oil is dead center when the motor is cold. And yeah I believe it said use 4.6 qt if the filter is changed, which I did change so went with 4.6.

Put this question in the neurotic category but here goes: I just did an oil change on my 2012 Skyactiv 3. The manual calls for 4.6 qts of oil, which is what I put in, and the dip stick shows dead center between the bottom and top holes when I go to measure the oil. Seems like not an issue...

Thanks for the perspective. Will a wheel with less offset also change geometry of travel and steering linkage? I figure the spacer had the same or similar impact as a wheel with less offset, but maybe I'm wrong(?).

Thank you for the feedback. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume that the engine and driveline components will wear faster simply due to running at a higher revolution on the motor, and not some bigger issue I'm missing. Looks like the load rating is 91 for the stock tire.

I checked it out and there are a lot in the size you suggest. I have decreased rolling diameter on cars in the past, and everything worked out okay. What is the worst case with 215/45/16? Thanks for the help.

Thanks, a lot. I'm okay with a rougher ride. I checked Tire Rack and tires.com for 215's and they have a very small selection and I'd prefer something better than the Turanza but still all season, like a Kumho ASX or something. I'll hunt more. This is good info about the TCS. That is crazy!
