    Opinions/Questions about rims

The spacer would make the problem worse.

    Before & After P5!

Offset... Very clean, very nice! If you could find out the offset, that would be great. It's stamped on the back of the rim (on the back of the hub actually) It's usually written close/beneath/above the rim size.

    Found some nice wheels (pics)

ARGH! I'm hating all these "knock" off brands of wheels. Rota in particular... I'm sorry, but Spoon SW388s are the baddest rims on the planet - but they aren't pretty. Kinda defeats the point if you go for SlipStreams instead. Sorry man... had to vent! :)

    Performance Routes!

Real men go naturally aspirated. :) I took the NA route on my Civic - something about having a 5 figure redline... For the Mazda though, I'd go boost.

    Opinions/Questions about rims

It's the distance (in millimetres) that the hub is located from the center of the rim. Positive offsets means closer to the outside of the rim, and negative offset means it's towards the inner side of the rim. +48 is a BIG offset... not many rims come in that offset. As a matter of fact, I've...

    Anyone running air cylinders?

You can buy the basic kit for $2200 US (the setup I'm looking at will run a bit more and I'm also in Canada, so it's more expensive). If you run air (not C02 or Nitrogen), you will require a compressor, the cylinders themselves, valves, a line kit, etc... the $2200 price is the cost of the...

    Wheel Help

don't worry about it... If the wheel is 7 inches wide, and it's a plus 40 offset, spacers shouldn't be necessary. I think spacers are usually overused as a solution to rubbing, most rubbing issues can be resolved using other methods. Anytime you drop a car and slap on big wheels (and tires of...

    Anyone running air cylinders?

Big difference... No, not hydros, air cylinders. And they are going into a P5, not an MP3. I'm not looking to bounce my ride, just have something I can tear around corners and also sit on the ground at car shows. This suspension is a combination of shocks and air cylinders... best of both...

    Anyone running air cylinders?

I've decided to screw the coils and get a set of air cylinders. Actually, they are a combo -- an air cylinder AND a shock in one. Also has what I call "built in camber correction". They are pretty slick cyclinders. Anyways, is anyone running on air?

Who makes REAL coilovers for the P5?

No cheap sleeve kits la GroundControl or Skunk2. I'm looking for the real thing -- thread shock, custom spring rates, etc. Anyone know a manufacturer that makes them? Thanks.

    Help a newbie out...

Hi guys, it's nice to be on here! On that note, I've converted. I'm a former owner of a Civic SiR (that's an Si for you Americans :) ) -- sold it about a month ago in order to get a P5. Should have it within a few weeks. Waiting for a black one with a moonroof to find it's way to a...
