Do I recommend this item: No, not at all. Why? It scratches very easily. Also, there must be a gap of some sort under the stainless strip as it dents easier than it scratches. Looks very ugly after a couple of dings. I'd recommend a pure plastic material instead.

Took a couple of weeks to order but the Thule Helium and Curt hitch were installed today 😀The Helium model is worth the cost: made out of aluminum, all quick release, no pins to fiddle with and has built in lock for the bikes and hitch.
