So you guys only replaced the illumination bulbs? I did change all including the small ones for the warning lights, maybe there is the problem!

Replaced all cluster lights to LED and did a mess, tach does not work, temp gauge all the way up when started have not driven it to see if the odometer works. Any guess on what happened, need a specific type of bulb? Any info would be appreciated.

Just installed a touch double din JVC radio to my P5, wired a 5 channel amp to door speakers and a Bazooka sub, everything went right until I started and run de P5, sound went up and down, off and on, muffled sound, a mess, like if there is some sort of connection from the radio to the car...

Well, today I installed a set of newly painted 17” Mazda 3 wheels on my P5 with a new set ot tires, ordering a 2Din JVC touch radio that should arrive next week!

So I scored a nice set of Mazda 3 17” wheels for my P5 and need some advice on which tires should fit best. Was thinking on 215/45/17 but not sure!

Went now at the car and the alarm was flashing, started like nothing happened, does overheating or any other sensor shuts down the ECU as a protection, don't want to get stuck one more time.

No click, took out the cover of the relay and looks new nothing burned or bad smell.

Ignition switch was replaced a month ago, main fuse look ok but Ill check it tomorrow, but nothing turns on totally dead. ECU fuses are ok, battery sparks when touch + and - terminals also tried another battery with jumper cables and nothing.

Car have no power at all nothing turns on even with another battery. Could be a blown ECU?

Hi, today my P5 radio started to power on and off a few times while running, soon after the car shut down with no power at all, noting, battery is fine, fuses looks good, main relay seems ok, it looks like it has no battery, tries another battery and still dead, any guess?

Duren, thanks for the write-up, ended replacing all the front, seals, timing belt, idler, pulley, water pump, timing covers, valve cover gasket, harmonic balancer and p/s, a/c and alternator belts...$300 in parts plus labor to a friend because I didn't flet confortable doing it myself.

The harmonic balancer on my 02 MP5 went out yesterday and I was wondering if it's an easy replacement task, have unmounted almost everything but still unsure about if I loose the timing. Have done before on my B2200 but thats old school. Any advice or write-up that helps me on this task?
