Do we know if CX-90 will be a bit more compact than CX-9? We leased a '21 Sorento and at 188" long it is the right size (emergency) 3-row for us. Saddly, it is has no real competition and I would not purchase a Kia.

103k, 2.0. I got the OEM belts - new one made in Mexico, old one Made in France. Very easy to remove water pump (towel) and put it back on (pushing with fingers while spining the crank). Water pump belt doesn't look bad but the serpentine belt was at a danger zone. OCV seal is here, waiting on...

Do you guys think all this oil can be from the tensioner? Any other common leaks on passenger side of the engine? I just replaced it together with the serpentine and water pump belt. About 2 hour job, 30 minute of which was cleaning the oil (so I can track if it stopa). If I have to do it again...

When replacing tensioner and belts at same time, what order would you go? I am thinking remove belts (from bottom), remove tensioner, install new tensioner (more room to work without belts), install new belts.

Yes I did, although the mount it self was metal, only the protector sleeve was plastic.

Has anyone removed the passenger side top engine mount in order to reach the tensioner? Seems like it will make things easier. However, I have no idea what will that do to engine position (e.g. drop it?). If not, what is the easiest technique? I will also be replacing sepentine belt so I am...

@PatrickGSR94 Awesome thread. Were you able to replace the tensioner/belts without removing top passenger side engine mount? I don't think the manual call for it but things looks really tight there (I have never done any work on side of any car engine). Also, what year is your CX5? Thanks.

Just replaced mine with KYB $55+tax a piece. I think it is half the price of OEM and mounting the upper mount takes 2 min.
