absolutely correct. this is the one downside to a non-urea injection system like "ford" has in their diesel trucks... it's another fluid tank to fill... extra fuel is added at intervals to burn hotter, and regenerate the DPF.. if this were a urea injection system you would not have this issue...

I would imagine that along with the nefound torque of the new 2.5 that they could also change the gearing ratios in the trannies, and redefine the parameters on the ECU for efficiency... I could easily see a skyactive 2.5 doing 28-34MPG being as the old 2.5 in my 07' mazda 6 pulls around...

so i read some news about there being a skyactive 2.5liter 4 cyl for the new 2014 Mazda 6 with 189HP, and nearly 170TQ... wondering if mazda has plans to put this same engine into a 2014/2015 CX-5?? if I had known this I would have waited.. not that i'm disappointed in the 2.0 it's a great...

I have the US version live in Maine.. but I don't see any provisions for a rear camera in the "shark fin, or near the liscense plate lights or anywhere.. I'd be happy if I could put in a license plate camera that just mounts behind the plates... but where to hook in? and how do I activate...

mine did'nt have the bracket either.. I just had 2 holes in the front bumper... weird.. and it's a requirement in maine to have a front plate...

I just went tot he dealer, and they had the blue!!! we testdrove it.. and had to have it.. although I was missing that the skyactive badge was all silver.... I went the light blue/silver badge off the mazda 3.. lol

the AWD has a 15gallon tank, and my "idiot light" light came on.. I filled it up, took 12.5 gallons, meaning it had 2.5gallons or so still in the tank.. also the guage if you notice on teh last 1/4 tank has 5 squares instead of 3.. my light came on at 3 squares.. this means when your idiot light...

I love my Cx-5 I bought it about a month ago, and have no regrets.. the tranny shifts great, Its AWD, so should be great in the snow here.. the handling is great, it's just large enough for my family of 3 (maybe 4 soon), and it's got good ground clearance 8" is as good as a jeep/subaru.. the MPG...
