    What have you done to your MSP today?

    What could cause boost to be lost at high RPM (5,000+)? I smoked the system which revealed a small leak that has since been fixed. Intercooler and piping has been pressure tested with no leaks found.

    Idle Issue

    Coils, plugs and wires were just replaced trying to solve the idle issue. Gapped the plugs at .028 also.

    Cleaned the TB, IAC , MAF, and EGR which fixed the idle issue. Now I have a problem when I enter boost. The car runs the strongest it's ever run out of boost, but once I hit even 1psi it starts to spit and sputter. Any ideas why?

    I was going to do the hood, because the paint is peeling pretty badly in from the of the driver A-pillar. Might just get it resprayed factory color. I would have to raise it up to even out the back camber. Right now it is almost touching the inside of the fender.

    Fixed my idle issue by cleaning the EGR, but now I have a misfire at high rpm (above 4k). Could this be a bad coil or wire? I put new NGK plugs in gapped at .28 which didn't seem to help. Mods are CustomMSP SMIC, Corksport Intercooler Hoses, Forge BOV and WGA, SRI, 2.5" J-Pipe/Mid-Pipe, and...

    Does anyone have a diagram for the wiring on the coils? The pins popped out of the plug yesterday, and I don't know the correct order.

    Idle Issue

    Does anyone make hard pipes for an SMIC still? I have an aluminum one, CustomMSP I think, and would like to keep it instead of a front mount.

    Do you think it could be a leak even with the vacuum numbers I posted? I plan to clean the EGR and IAC this weekend to see if that helps. I am also installing the 1.8L coil conversion to see if that helps any.

    Reading between 20 and 22 on the vacuum gauge. I think one of my intercooler pipes might be leaking. Would that cause it?

    MAF has been relocated so it's not that. I replaced all of the vacuum lines along with the intake gaskets. Could it be a sticky IAC?

    It's 3" straight pipe so nothing on the end of it. The light will be on for a day or so then it will go off. When AZ went to read it their machine wouldn't recognize my car. Maybe due to the flashes ecu?

    Anyone run just an open midpipe? I need to install my Catless midpipe, because I believe my cat is clogged. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the exhaust shop until mid-next week.
