Heater does not perform well in cold temperatures

I had put it on full blast as my windows started icing over on level 1. Normally it had been fine, even all last winter without issues, but if I recall this was the coldest I drove it in.

hmm thanks, that is interesting to note still. The 2.5 isn't that much different than the 2.0.

Heater does not perform well in cold temperatures

It was -17*F on my way to work this morning. My car is garage kept so it started decently warm. It took 25 minutes into my commute for the blue light to come off. I had a brief 5 sec stop at a stop light and the blue light came back on and remained on for the rest of my 50 minute total drive. Of...

    Dash Cubby on Non-Nav Vehicles?

Like i said, the space was designed first and foremost for the nav, and the car built around that. With the nav removed they could have either put a flat piece or the finger hole. The purpose i see of the finger hole is for you to be able to remove the piece to install the nav if you want later...

    fwd cx5 in snow

Mine with stock 17 tires did great last year through our chicago storms. Plowed through unplowed streets with several inches of snow like a champ. There is sliding, but nothing i ever felt like i wasnt in control of. I drove very agressively to test the cars abilities. I may jump to snow tires...

    Dash Cubby on Non-Nav Vehicles?

You realize the only point of that area is for the nav. The only reason is has a cubbie is to help in its removal for the nav installation...

    engine revving by itself

Only happened one time but i was positive as to what was happening. Car was parked at work and i went to leave for the day. I put the car in reverse and backed out of the spot and then put the car into drive and the car was accelerating on its own to about 2500 rpm. I put both feet on the floor...

    What Color Calipers?

I did black g2 with white mazda lettering decals i got off ebay then used high temp gloss over top it all to protect the decals on my previous mazda3. Looked perfect when i sold the car. I really like black. Its subtle when parked but easily seen when driving.

    Cranks Starts Dies

Can you really assume the shock failure is premature because your wife drives it? While my wife is a great driver, id be willing to bet she does bad things to her car on accident.

You can remove the message in the settings and you cannot disable the safety lock. Thank the mcdonalds hot coffee suing type people for that.

Help replacing factory speakers on a budget.

Check my sig. I have the sport and was one of the first on here to swap the speakers. I chose the polk db series. The 3.5" ones fit perfect in the dash.

Help replacing factory speakers on a budget.

The speaker is glued onto the stock bracket. Using a knife you can easily cut the paper speaker out of the stock bracket to reuse it for your after market speakers.
