I know this is an old post but my 2000 626 V6 has the same problem. I had the EGR valve replaced and the MIL came back. I can check it and it always the P0400 code. I know the part is new and the mechanic said all the hoses/vents were clear. Maybe the wiring? I haven't been able to get back to...
