I bought a Mazda 2 1.25 Comfort When the car is in neutral, and the motor is running is it normal that the rotation pointer might go a tiny little up and down? Also, when i'm accelerating in 2nd gear i might hear at first some "tsssss" in the motor, is it normal? Thank you all!

I have a new car, that I bought yesterday, and it's a Mazda 2 1.25L from December 2003, This car doesn't have a thermometer so that I can see the themperature outside, is it possible to put a thermometer in this car?
