Sounds simple but here is my situation. I am looking at some M3 hatchbacks....
'09 48,000mi for $13,500
'10 57,000mi for $13,500
Other then looks is the '10 a beter car and worth the extra 9,000mi?
Thanks
The car is fixed. Thanks for the help guys. It turns out the MC was bad (must have happened when I tried to bleed the system the first time) .
I replace the front hoses, front calipers, MC, and rear caliper (bleed valve broke).
Cheers
Keno, i am not throwing parts at the car. I guess I wasn't as clear as I could have been.
Since i have a hoses and a MC on the way i am waiting until it arrives before I mess with the car again. The hoses are a good thing to replace and the MC is just incase. If my current MC is good I will...
Thanks. I did not know they were split diagnolly. I recheck and my right rear and left front have no pressure. The other two are fine.
I tried to bleed all 4 but i cannot build any pressure at the pedal.
I bought a vacuum bleeded kit. It worked well on the passanger side. On the drivers side i can not get any fluid to come out and I have no pedal pressure at all. I then removed the drivers side front hard line from the MC and I could get a suction from the MC end of the line. So that indicates...
Okay. I hooked up a vacuum bleeder to the driver and pass side front and i get fluid from the pass side but not the driver's side. when I push/pump the brake pedal it doesn't frim up like i would expect.
Also, if the hose is blocked wouldn't the pedal get frim?
I am tempted to blow air into...
Nothing comes out at all. Could it be air locked by a nunch of air?
I don't thunk my car has ABS.
I am going to harbor freight tomorrow to get a pressure bleeder. Maybe that will help.
Do/can the hoses get blocked?
I replaced my front calipers today and have an issue.
On my drivers side I can not get any (just a drip every now and again) fuid to come out of the hose. I noticec thiz when I tried to bleed the brakes.
Passanger side s good and has good pressure.
Drivers side, not so good.
I replacd the...
I had the same problem and it ended up being the relay or ? device which snaps into the top OEM intake hose. It popped out of the intake hose clip and was resting against a metal part of the car, causing the vibration/ticking to be heard.
I clipped it back in and the noise went away.
