does anyone know what the torque specs are for the 4 bolts on the luggage rack? No one at the dealerships knows since it was not an accessory in 2002. Also anyone know how far apart the roof rack bars can be? Thanks

Ah, this is what I need. The two bolts that had the metal washer on them, did they come off the front or rear bar? Also when attaching the 2 bolts to the front bar did the bar itself lay right against the top of the roof rack rails (metal to metal contact) or was there a spacer/bracket/washer...

Sorry, I was referring to the 2 crossbars that make up the roof rack. Not the strut bar.

are you sure? There is only 1 mounting hole on each side of the front crossbar??? Does it just lay on the metal piece underneath (ie: metal on metal) or is there a washer under there?

the front crossbar support on the pr5, does it attach with only one bolt on each side and does it just sit on the metal piece with the hold drilled in it or does it sit on that metal piece with a washer or bracket underneath? Thanks.

I bought these from another member, not a dealer so I was not sure if all parts were there...for instance there was only 3 small screws (that seems like an odd number and one rectangle piece. Do you have the instruction sheet? Could you fax it to me or email it or the inventory of parts? thanks!

Yes, I had the rack (with crossbars) originally on my car but gave it (the crossbars and hardware) away. The other day I purchased the crossbar assembly to put it back on my car. Not sure if all the parts are there though...I remember more. Like on the back there used to be plates that...

Hey, anyone have the instruction booklet on how to install a roof rack on 2002 PR5? If so would they mind giving me a parts list so I can see if I may need to pick up a few bolts, etc.? The rack I have comes with 2 braces, 4 large covers, 2 other smaller odd shaped cover pieces, 4 large bolts...
