Just found a motor for the MSP, 135,000 good compression and oil press. They are keeping the intake and eh and turbo. $1750 I guess thats a good price(cabpatch)

Ok I have looked and I can't find a MSP motor. Lots of 03 protege motors. I am planning to install forged rods and pistions,that's what broke. Can I buy a 03 protege motor do the upgrade on the pistions and rods, swap all accessories and mate it to my trans and put it in my MSP?(bang)

Blew the motor last night. Advance auto has a rebuilt for $2400. but it only shows up for the regular protege. Is it the same motor? Blew the connecting rod end cap and other pieces/parts thru the front side of the motor(help)

My son wants to replace the stock intake manifold. He bought a new one, don't know the manf., and also got a EGR tube. How hard is it to remove and replace? I would really like to have some instruction before I dive in. There is a lot of stuff on top of the intake. Thanks Helping Dad

Went to the parts store to check out the alternator and they said the starter was pulling too many amps. Pulled the starter(not a nice job) and bench checked it. Got a reading of @ 120-140 amps. Took it to another store with a tester and the starter tested good. Just need to know if amp reading...
