I just sold my Protg and I am considering buying a 2000 or newer MPV. Is the suspension in these interchangeable with any other Mazda models?

Hi The gas mileage on my 2000 Protg LX with the 1.8 has recently got really bad. I figured it out and this week I got about 14 mpg. The check engine light has not come on, it runs fine but does have a very small fluctuation in the idle speed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Well, new to me. They are 15 x 6.5 et 36 made by RTX. It's made a huge difference in the look of the car. They don't show up very good in the pics.

I was driving home tonight and the lights on my radio started to flash. Not in the radio display but below that on the radio controls. With the car not running and the lights on there was no flashing. I'm thinking it might be some sort of a ground problem. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm going to change the wheels on my 2000 Protege LX in the spring (Maybe sooner if I find a good deal). What is the lowest offset any of you guys are running with a 15" wheel? Stock is 45et but I'd like something that sits out a little more. Picture would be great too. Thanks
