I bought my car with the clunk, took it in for warranty and they replaced all the bushings in the back and it's gone. We'll see how long it stays gone, but perhaps Mazda is using a different set of bushings now?

There's a blue Mazda 3 at the Burnet Austin, TX dealer. Damn that car looks sharp, the interior is just like the 6. I may be trading my brand new MSP for a Mazdaspeed 3 if they ever make one. I figure it'll be a year or more before they release a Mazdaspeed version, but I think it'll be worth it.
