I've had my car for less than six months, and the engine light has come on at least seven occasions I used to be able to make it go off by going about 5 in reverse then kicking it into drive but it's not working anymore anyone else having this problem?

(help)I got a stock 07 Mazda6, V4 FWD It has tip-tronic, so I can drive it like a stick, and I have 18 inch alloy RX-8 wheels on it. those are pretty much the only remarkable things about it... where should I start?
