    I just picked up a rockford fosgate power puch 12 in subwoofer and a "esx" 800/2 amp from a buddy that used to be in his car.     Replacing springs

    I have a 03 Protege LX, the question i have is am i able to replace my factory springs with racing beat springs without replacing my struts? Also, is that going to lower my overall ride height at all? attempted to do a search and returned nothing related to my question... Appreciate any help...

    I have a 2003 Protege with a 2.0L motor and witht he benifit of working at a dealership I was able to get ahold of another 2.0L motor that a guy hydrolocked the engine....So plan is to tear it down and rebuild it from scratch. My biggest determination is deciding what type of setup to go with...
