Searched for rear clunk, didn't come up with anything that pertained to this. I have an 05 3 hatch and I've noticed that if I have people in the back when I go over bumps I am hearing some type of clunk noise. I can't tell what it is, but I'm scared to lower the car if it's always like this on...

There are a few dealers here that have a lot of 05 3's left. No rebates on these cars I guess...I'm looking at a couple that list at about $19,455. Could one be had for under $18,000??

Looks like Mazda added a $1000 dealer cash incentive...a behind the scenes rebate. $2500 cash customer rebate $500 college rebate $1000 dealer cash. So in essence you can get a new one loaded for about 14,800.

My wife traded in her Beetle for the 04 Altima 3.5 SE and I traded my P5 in for an 04 Spec-V. It's funny because I had traded my 02 Spec-V in for the P5. I missed it though.

On my Factory dunlops, they are pretty sad. Tread is good, but look dry-rotted and no one will cover them. Only have 19,000 miles on them. Anyways, I see that I can get a set of Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires 195/50-16 HR rated Mounted/Balanced, out the door for $279 including tax. Good deal...

I'm seriously considering a new MSP. I figure with the $2000 rebate, $500 college cash and $500 Dealer cash I can get it for $3000 below invoice. The only problem is that on my P5 I am $3000 upside down. With all the cash, can one buy an MSP for $15, 500 or so?

In my Protege 5 that is. Anyways, I have 18,000 miles on the stock Dunlops and they look good still. How are these cars in the snow? I don't have the extra cash to buy snow tires and what not. So I'm going to chance it, but how was the ride for people that drove them thru the winter snow?

On my 02 P5 that has about 15,800 miles on it, I've noticed that the front tires are kinda dried out and cracked bad throughout the tread, not on the sidewalls though. It was like this when I bought it 3 months ago, but I never thought anything of it until now. Any ideas why this would happen...
