6.5" speakers often come with grills, when I install the speakers, do I have to take the grill off? or I can leave the grill on the speakers? If I can't leave the grills on, then what are they for? why they come with 6.5" speakers? thanks!!

I would like to upgrade my mazda 3 sedan car audio, but don't know which size of speaker to use... 6.5" seems have more nicer speaker design than other size ... therefore i wonder if 6.5" can fit perfectly with Mazda 3 or not ? or I must use 5x7 / 6x8 if I want them to be matched perfectly...
