    05 mazda 6 sensor issure

    engine light went on so I took it to auto zone they checked it and code stated that it needs a knock sensor, so I want to know if this sensor makes my trans work out of wack, sometimes it stays stuck on 3 and sometimes on 2nd have to switch it to manual to shift it, also I would like to know...
