Is this possible or do I have to always push the start button twice immediately after I shut the engine down?

I've only had my cx-5 for 1 week and just today I heard a slight rattling noise from the engine as I was parking in my driveway. I believe I read something similar on this forum a few days ago but I could be mistaken. Also has anyone noticed how 'rough' the engine start is?
