I'm waking up an old thread for this one. I assume the 03 P5 shift knob simply twists off as well? I've been trying to get mine off but it's putting up a good fight.

I just got my P5 and it had the same problem but like RMW Guy said, I sprayed some WD40 in there and it works better now. It isn't perfect and I still have to push it deep to get it to latch but it's a simple/cheap fix.

Thanks for the welcome! Azuelke, I was thinking of putting clear ones on eventually and this would probably be the time to do it. I found a couple threads about replacing them but if I have any questions about fit I'll definitely ask. I have a buddy with a Si and a lot of those guys change...
