Hey guys, I found out what I was doing wrong. Apparantly I did not insert the plug into the radio all the way. Haha, that was so dumb of me. Well, I got it to go all the way in and now it works. Well, at least the clock anyways. I gotta go get some speakers to test the radio and cd player...

Yes, they completely chopped off the original wireharness and then directly wired the aftermarket unit to the wires. Either that, or when they removed their aftermarket unit, they decided to be very lazy and just cut it all off.

Ok, I have a 2001 Mazda Protege. I bought it used and the original mazda head unit was removed for an aftermarket cd player. Whent the guy sold it back to me, he gave me back the original head unit but no radio harness. I bought a new harness off of e-bay, but I don't know what wires go where...
