I watched a replacement video on YouTube for a CX-5 and it doesn't look so bad. Problem is finding the right part. RockAuto does not have any Actuator locks in stock for a 2010 CX-9. Anyone know a good place to buy a proper part?

The latch you mean the metal hook on the car itself? That is free and clear. Nothing stuck in the middle of it and the opening looks fine. Mechanism then is the thing on the door that locks? How do I remove the hatch cover? I don't see any way to get to it.

All right, for an update this morning I swapped both the motor and the regulator out. It really wasn't that bad of a job this time, I took my time, took everything apart correctly, and the new one was easy to bolt on. Tons of tape to hold the window in place, couldn't risk that. The good...

Not the motor, that would be easy, the regulator is the thing on the other side of the door panel that the window sits on and its what the motor moves up and down. It's much more of a pain to replace. Going to be messy out there.
