I have a Protege that I run in ST and would like to stay there. I need new motor mounts and was wondering if that would affect my class. I see that you can have engine mounts but not transmission mount in ST and in Street Prepared it says Trans mount. Would the mount on the driver's side be...
Yes sir. I told the guy installing it to load the bushings and the end links with grease. I'm not sure either but it is definitely the end links. Maybe they are too tight? I did the rear myself and tightened them by hand and they do not squeak anymore. Maybe the impact gun tightens them too much...
I got my front sway bar installed and used the Ford Escape end links from autozone. Before I switched out the bar and end links my front end squeaked real bad. I was hoping that the new end links would do the trick. The only thing that they did was make the squeak a higher pitch. What would you...
I have a 2003 Protege ES with front and rear racingbeat sway bars. The next thing that I want to upgrade is the struts and springs. It is my daily driver but I also autox it. I want to have a comfortable ride but I want it to be competitive in autox. I've been looking at the Tokico Illuminas...

I have a Protege ES. The speakers that I went with were Clarion's up front and Pioneer's in the back. Not sure of the size but they sound great when paired with a Kenwood Excelon 4 channel amp.
I have 5% all around, except on the windshield, and I have never gotten pulled over. I do have a medical waiver but in Delaware the cops just really don't care about tint.
I have a 2003 Protege ES and I am looking at getting new struts and springs all around come spring time. I would like the car to look evenly dropped all around but would also like it to perform well during autocross. I am also leaning towards something that is adjustable because in the winter...
I am going to be installing the Racingbet rear sway bar and am wondering what I should on the bolts for the endlinks? I will probably end up changing the struts and springs sometime and want to be able to remove the endlinks without having to cut them. What should I put on them? I saw that there...
