Anyone else find it strange that if you google sylvania H1 or H11, you get lots of hits of name-brand normal replacement bulbs (along with aftermarket), but if you google P13W, all I see are LED aftermarkets, no name-brand normal replacements? I get that my car is new and the DRLs will probably...
From 5-11 of NA OM:
Press the windshield defroster switch.
In this position, the outside air position is
automatically selected, and the air
conditioner automatically turns on.
That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure I wasn't misinterpreting. BTW how do you think your lights stack up against these that iJDMTOY suggest for the CX-5: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Mazda-CX-5-LED-Daytime-Running-Light-Kit-p/mazda-cx-5-drl.htm ?
So which ones from iJDMTOY did you use (I ask because they appear to have some CREE ones on their site: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Chevy-Camaro-High-Power-Fog-Lights-p/p13w-led-fog-light-4w.htm)?
Hey, all,
My local newspaper (Washington Post) has a car columnist who has weekly chats, and I wrote in about this problem to seek his assistance in putting pressure on Mazda to fix this. (http://live.washingtonpost.com/real-wheels-live_031513.html) I'll keep you apprised of any developments.
If I'm understanding the differences between the US and European TomTom units, the European models have an internal SIM card for using the LIVE services, but the US models do not have the SIM card, so no LIVE services.
I just checked the LIVE services screen on my car (which has tech) and the options displayed match p. 20 of the reference guide (http://download.tomtom.com/open/manuals/Mazda_Navigation_System_NB1_non_LIVE/manual.htm), which indicates our system uses RDS-TMC traffic services and the Speed...
I have a 2014 GT w/tech also and I followed the instructions in the separate MB1 manual for live services. I get traffic when I program a route. I think there's also a way to check traffic near your location without a route active, but haven't tried it yet.
OK, put the blank file on my nano (had to name it 00100000 because first song is "007 (Shanty Town)"). Works like a champ. Thank you, Senor Valasco and juggernautrises.
So what do you do after the stereo picks up the "10000000" song? I assume it gives you time to select a song or shuffle without having to hear the first part of the first song on your device?
Here's the reply (with original inquiry) I received from MCA:
Hello xxx,
Thank you for contacting Mazda regarding your 2014 MAZDA CX-5. We are sorry to hear that you have this concern with your Mazda. The USB does start from your first song on your ipod when the ignition is turned on. What I...
I noticed this using my nano, if I select artist or album, the Mazda limits the "universe" of music to that selection, so if there's only one song, that would be played over and over regardless of whether repeat is off.
BTW I too e-mailed Mazda Customer Assistance about the issue of not starting...
