The diff is a huge difference in wet weather but if you dont have snow tires it can hurt you in the snow. With both tires spinning, the front of the car can wander side to side. With only one tire spinning you still have one planted to keep you in one spot.

I belive with the twiggy cams the fsde turns into an interference motor. It's only an issue if you break a timing belt. I had the timing belt replaced...

Altough I have been researching components for "mark II", I am planning on pushing the setup i have before opening the motor up again. My first (and only) dyno produced 148.5 whp with a rough road tune on the MT. Close to 150 is nothing to sneeze...

Your description sounds very similar to mine. I've got more get up an go than a stock MSP but the wife dosent like to ride in the car because it sounds "dangerous" and is "too fast".

I had to open the throttle plate slightly along with the IAC screw turned all the way out as well. I have gotten numerous compliments on the sound esp. above 4K. Turfburn actually said once it is the best sounding NA protoge hes ever heard. ;)
trying to get some custom cam gears lined up, after that custum header midpipe combo and other misc smaller projects (medival pullies, upgraded oil pump) Still only have the mustang dyno results from last summer at just under 150whp
