I have a 1998 Protege and I want to lower it about 2". Not looking for race quality, just street use at a fairly cheap price, a.k.a. no coilovers. Any and all suggestions are welcome, thanks.
If I could relocate my battery, fuse box, maybe coolant overflow, I'd make a really nice one, but I don't have the time, money or know-how at the moment for that. Has anyone done any of that before? Or maybe a how-to somewhere?

I used a razor blade when I took mine off. As long as it's at a shallow angle it won't scratch the paint. Knowing about the hair dryer probably would have saved me a ton of time though.
It seems that my thoughts have been confirmed. The Z5 automatic transmission should bolt onto the BP with no problems. I'll let you know if anybody says different though.
