For me, since i've owned several mazdas and they all had the same keyfobs, a change is a welcome addition to me, I would love to swap mine's out if it was possible. The new key to me feels more premium after driving the new mazda 3 as a loaner. I'm also guessing by having side buttons, it will...
just curious, what additional tech would you like to see on the new cx-5? i would like to see that "smart park" feature that hyundai has, that would definitely put a smile on my and my son's face going in and out of the garage, other than that, i'm not sure what more features it needs, just need...
yup i definitely know how you feel,
luckily for me, my dealer was able to give me a refund on mine when i had it on my previous gen mazda3. After that experience, i realized I won't be using the mazda mobile start on my current Cx-5. I went with compustar with dronemobile added on..I've been...
the 3rd Gen probably won't be out until 2022, i'm a bit surprised that they didn't do a minor facelift on the midcycle refresh, the 2019-2020 cx-5 is the midcycle refreshed versions right? usually headlights and tail lights get a design refresh, but maybe the cx-5 looks good the way it is.
glad you are ok, but PLEASE invest in a dashcam, i'm telling you, after my incident with lying drivers, i have installed dashscams (Front and Rear) on all my cars...i decided to go with Garmin this time. Hope all works out.
i concur! it brings a smile to my face everytime i press the gas and take off, along with the exterior design, despite the dang cricket noise coming from the engine bay.
i find nothing wrong with the infotainment, carplay works well, the user interface is simple and easy to navigate, the only thing i would say is if it had a bigger screen, i never even use the touch screen. The infotainment will be updated in the next gen to what the cx-30 and the mazda 3 has...
this also can be solved if dashboard lights remain off at night when the headlights are not on, this was how they did it back in the days before autohead lights and DRL's.
there are 2 oem options:
1) huge mazda remote start KEYFOB that's attached to your original keyfob, dead giveaway
or
2) you can only remote start using the mazda mobile start app.
since you have neither of these 2 and you can remote start using only the original oem keyfob, you definitely have...
could be either fortin or compustar...it's great they installed the aftermarket remote starter and not the oem version...btw you can also add dronemobile to your remote starter so you can remote start with your smart watch or smart phone and be able to track and enable and program aux functions.
the only “fix” so far is to listen to your radio. Anyways I’m a bit bummed myself but learned to live with it. The car otherwise drives great so can’t complain in that dept.
a direct link would be nice..
what is the price hike from 2019 Sg to 2020 Sg? they only difference i see is really the addition of the bigger Nav screen which is a plus, updated AWD for off road, more noise deadening, Improved engine noise, and 10 addtional lbs of torque.
i'm going to guess they reserved the front parking sensors for the Sg models only to work with the 360 camera. But yeah it should also be an added option for non-Sg models. I went with Sg and never looked back. The dark interior won't get dirty as quick.
