it is? I was @ a Nissan dealership today and they sold the Catz HID kits in the parts department...$500 I think it was...but yeah look on the net! If u can buy someone's soul on e-bay I'm sure u can get a HID kit...hehe :D
hmm, is ur intake temp sensor connected and seated properly? i know that will make the CEL come on, or it could be an exhaust leak, check around the O2 sensor after the 1st cat...other than that, I'm stumped bro.

The msrp for the k&n is like $400-$600 I believe, but they haven't released it for the msp yet. It should be soon since I already got the prototype.
I'm not sure why it costs so much. But I do know that the typhoon comes in three models and the msp get the Complete Cold Air. Go to their website...
The material of the pipe that the bpv is actually on determines the sound. Injen uses a metal piece so it makes the higher pitched sound. My k&n uses a plastic piece and is a deeper 'woosh' sound. So its just personal preference. Either way, the stock bpv is definetly goin to be generating...
