That's pretty much general car knowledge.. when you do that you are pulling the car by the bumper, and it's off center. Why would you risk fatiguing your actual bumper (which is specifically designed to crumple) instead of using the real hardened tow points, which are big eyelets on the frame...
RWD based just means that.. RWD based vs fwd.. was have fwd based awd. This means the engine will be longitudinal. FWD is a product of economy and ease of manufacture, not performance..
Just to clarify, a sprint booster/pedal commander does not increase power.. it just alters throttle signal. Basically equivalent to pressing your foot down more
Lol it would be cheaper to buy coilovers than keep using the springs. All I see is bad press about those springs, had a local ftiend replace hers with bc racing due to poor ride quality/bottoming out. CX racing hs a set starting at like 480. You're gonna trash new components with them. I'd...
You should try and find a copy of the workshop manual online.. it lists all DTC and their causes/troubleshooting. It's quite possible that is a straight wiring or module issue. I have the WS manual but mine does not cover diesel.
Trans isn't causing extra oil blowby.. you are operating your engine at increased load at lower rpms than typical.. therefore higher cylinder pressure and more blowby (especially with "fleet mpg" MPG 20w oil if you use it). Not surpirsing, but not really an issue either. Use a cleaner to get...
Have you ever added fuel system cleaner to the fuel tank (regular maintenance). Used a head cleaner, and also your driving style can play into excessive oiling of you drive light footed all the time. Electric tape is used from factory to bundle wires so unless it looks janky it's probably oem...
Well, fuel system is seperate. Valve build up issues is more of a vacuum/pcv system factor. You should be using a head cleaner sprayed into a vacuum line and in the fresh air hose attachment on the intake/airbox hose (past the MAF). It's easy enough to do and can be done before an oil change...
I do. I put rags over the open part of the alternator and a rag over the battery. You don't really need to do much else as really all of it is water resistant or gasketed. I usually use the self wash bay (not using the trigger)
I'm not sure about now, but in the past it has. You'd have to compare yours to model trims we have here. Historically euro cx5s had more options than we could get here in the us.
