I think.. Wait.. Thinking is my problem...
Ok, I've been reading this forum and I haven't really put 2 and 2 together but I just want to make sure..
I see a lot of ppl talking about running the 93 Octane maps but when I look at COBB Speed6 Maps it's all 91. I looked at the Speed3 Maps and it...
I heard...
I heard that you can drop a 10" sub in replacement of the old 9". Is that true?
Also, does anyone have ANY idea on a decent sub that will work in an open space that we have? I dont' wanna get a box or anything like that, I just want to be able to take out the old sub and drop in a...
Did you have any issues??
The install (like I said) was pretty easy. But now I have an annoying noise when I hit a bump on my left side. Talked to my buddy who had an EVO and a 350Z and he said it will be like that for some time.
Let us know how it went!
Well guys I did them today and I have to say it really wasn't that bad. The front was the worst cuz you had to compress the springs but that was about it. All in all I would say it was extremely easy. Took me and my buddy 4 hours total. And that was looking for a spring compressor for about an...
We have a compressor :) but thank you for the input. I'll keep that in mind just incase something happens.
And yea, I understand 350 miles is a lot but I just wanted to make sure. So if I do it on Saturday, I'll get it done tuesday (sunday + driving to work monday).
Thanks for help (thumb)
I drive 70 miles a day to a from work. I have everything on the way too. Highway, Back roads full of twists and turns, and then regular road full of hills.
I think a week should def be good then.
Ok, then comes my next question... How long to settle before allignment?
Few days or a week?
Had 2 different opinons.
Trick Trucks & Cars said Immediately
Buddies say a week.
I completely agree with you. I just didn't know if it's truely that difficult. My buds are pretty much gear heads so I trust them... when they are sober. But when we get together, beer is involved. That might not be good lol (friday)
Anyone have that? I just looked at it and it doesn't look to bad. I'd like to know if it sits flush or if anyone is having any issues at all (if you have it).
Got my Springs yesterday and I was talking to my buddies and they have all installed their own springs (Honda Civic, 300ZX, 3000GT VR4). Well, my question is, how many people here have installed it themselves? How easy is it? Or do you think I would be better off doing it Professionally. I have...
I drove it again this morning to work and it's still damp out. My car is still bucking at 4,000+ RPM but it's clearing up and it's getting warm. Maybe it will dry out and be fine. But I'm pulling it into the Garage tonight and slapping something on to protect it.
No, didn't have time to pull the code. I was right beside the dealership and they said they couldn't (said no one was there to do it). Oh, and when I bought the car from them it came with the CAI. They should buy me the SRI :D
Mine has the AEM CAI intake and today, in the nice East Coast rain storm we had, I drove about 20 miles on the highway with 1/8 of an inch of rain on the roads. Well, when I hit the straight away and went to pass a truck that was going 40 in a 60, my car jerked at about 4,000 RPMs and kept on...
Throw a V8 into the S2k like they do with the RX-7's. Then good luck getting off the line :D

Does anyone have the 2" rear and 1.5" front done?
I'm lookin into get those Eibach Sportline Lowering Kit springs and wanted to know if anyone had to roll the fenders or if they would be fine. I'm runnin stock rims and tires and wont be changin them anytime soon.
I hate to do it but I have been searching for some time now and can't find the thread about some coil mod or something when I install my new ITV22 plugs. Can someone link it or explain what needs to be done and the benefits? I could totally be wrong and dreamt it lol.
Also, you think those 1...
