How long did you leave it to dry? put it on in the sun or shade? The wax does have a slight yellow tint to it making it easier to see on a white car, paris is correct. How do I know? I've already used it on my 6 in conjunction with the ultimate liquid wax. We are getting some bad tree pollen...
They did something right finally, it's true. If someone hates the car and finds something to complain about they will whine about every creak, bump, noise it makes.
Honestly the sound at highway speeds is not noticeable at all unless you love to drive with the radio turned off and all alone...
I don't know about the paint being durable! my 6 already has a tiny little chip in the paint that made it through the thin little clearcoat.
Mike how is this thing holding up so far?
Maybe it's more geared towards the east coast lol it picks up new roads or detours fairly quickly in NY, NJ and PA from what I noticed. I had a Garmin Nuvi years ago thought the layout was one of the most boring ever, and took forever to latch onto a GPS signal never went back to them after...
Dude no one's making fun or giving you s*** for doing it. You asked for opinions and got some honest opinions. You did a good job on the plastidip, then again to eff it up someone has to be real dumb as it's one of the easiest things to use. If you like it eff what anyone else thinks :) it's...
As far as maps are concerned TomTom is top notch. I've been using portable TomTom units for years so for me it was a very easy transition and I am the type to actually type in addresses before I leave and it gives me the best routes around any traffic with the updates. I like it and am very...
You can get away with it on the white CX-5 but all other colors it looks awkward. Yes I do like the chrome look of the logo even a brushed aluminum look would have been nice also.
On your Vehicle page right beneath "Recent Activity" and "tips" section there is Share your MPG and it says "View all the badges and stuff you can share" click on that and just copy and paste the codes into your Signature here.
Is wrapping the roof similar to the clearbra process? mixture of baby shampoo + water and squeegee out the mixture? I'm looking into doing this for my 6, I already installed the clear bra on it over the weekend. If the same process then I may go ahead and do this myself as well.
Damn nice except the honeycomb grill, man I wish the CX-5 had the new Mazda 6 grill instead with the sleek horizantal lines and the gloss black top line. Looks so nice.
Does it have to do with the CEL coming on when you hold down the brake pedal and step on the gas at the same time? :D I'm so curious about that one but I ain't trying to do it lol someone do it and let us know if the CEL comes on (lol2)
In any case I think it's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations. A lot of engineering goes into building engines so I trust their word and would not take a risk of any trouble down the road whether it be 5,000, 50,000 or 100,000 miles. :)
Just drive as you mormally would, except don't stay in one speed/rpm for long periods of time, don't race the engine etc. for the first 500 miles or so.
After the winter getting back up into the 27's and probably will be nearing the regular 29-30's as the weather gets warmer. For an AWD these are great numbers.
