I use gold class when I'm going to clay bar and start the paint fresh. I have griots wax safe stuff (pink) for when I want just a clean surface without stripping anything. Always make sure you're using two buckets, rinse and soap, when you're washing the car!
I'll be honest, I used to be able to use rain-x with no issues at all. Like made it perfect. Then a few years ago, I must have lost my touch. I think I have some nufinish laying around somewhere. I may actually have to try that trick out. Its not the first time I've heard of waxing the...
Damn its expensive. Good luck

Head on over to crutchfield.com I buy pretty much all my electronics through them simply because when you call them to talk through things, they actually know what the hell they're talking about (most of the time).
As for you blowing the front bose speaker, my sister in laws 16 cx5 with bose...
If you are driving the cx9, the stock turbo is pretty damn good. 17.4 psi and its small. The MS3 turbo stock is only at 15.6psi and I think physically it is a tad larger than the cx9s. If you want to upgrade anything, replace the turbo with a stock one and upgrade the piping, intercooler and...
In case any one was wondering the Level of OCD I have with detailing, I lay out my products before hand to make sure I have enough of what I need. Hence the double bottles of window cleaner. I like my griots if you can't tell. But hidden in the back is back to black gel tire shine. Its worth the...
Ah gotcha, yeah one of the main reasons I went with a wax/ceramic combo is the ability to be added at any layer. It also makes it really easy to buff out any high spots, as you may. my hood took the longest but once I realized that less is more it got easier. The fully ceramic stuff worries me...
I went off of the griots website and their videos make it seem like it can be added at any stage you want. Their polish is more for removing any paint swirls but still leaves a protectant layer on the surface. Im really just trying to layer it as much as I can since I live in the northeast and...
2020 about a week and a half old. It sat at the port of Baltimore for a few months though due to covid and the dealership had construction going on. I hit it with griots complete compound after a full panel clay bar. Im still iffy about the spray on ceramic waxes but everyone swears by them so...
Whole bunch of detailing done today, not too much since I gotta go to work soon. Tried out Griots 3in1 ceramic wax stuff. Works pretty well from what I can tell. Still doesn't hold its own against even their Best of Show wax but, damnit, it was seriously easy to apply.
I ran the ebay box 4-1 header with racing beat cat back. Also had the injen cold air. Those mods among many many others. Sound wasn't too too loud especially with windows closed and minimal drone on highways. Everything bolted up no problem but I did have to use the drilled out double spark plug...
SO, the idatastart was a bust. Easy as hell to hook up and get programmed but the issue came when I would remote start it. The key fob and exterior door unlock button wouldn't work after it was remote started. I called the company and they said it was their issue and gave me no resolution but to...
