IOS 16.4 warning (OK, just caution)

I finally got back after a week of traveling. Upon troubleshooting, I went with the nuclear option and deleted CarPlay. Once I reconnected after that, all issues went away.

IOS 16.4 warning (OK, just caution)

Just a note for anyone about to update to iOS 16.4. Something in CarPlay changed and now you can NO LONGER have independent navigation voice volume and music volume (they are one and the same). Additionally, if you use the Mazda OEM radio or XM, the navigation voice will “focus” the OEM screen...

2017~2025 Not impressed with Mazda CX-5 dead pedal cover

I’ve had my aliexpress ones affixed to the dead pedal spot with Velcro tape for over 3 years. Zero issues. Having said that, my Spyder mats cover the pedal, lol. I didn’t want to use the screws and the tape has really held rock solid.

To answer all the questions. 1. Nope, never out of sync. 2. Never had a single instance of moisture or condensation. 3. I live in NJ. You pay for flight and I’ll gladly help :) (or wait until I’m in the Bay Area in august).

I was lucky and had a pair of rhino ramps. Made it easier. Yeah, I did have some busted knuckles, but, I’d help someone do it again :)

I can also vouch for japanparts. Many of us replaced our rear headrests with the JDM versions and purchased them through that site.

It’s a good video but WAY overkill…. Just make some room by removing some clips.

Here’s the kits I am using: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W77GWD4/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X87LFWN/ You don’t have to remove the bumper at all. I simply unclipped the plastic shield under the front bumper and worked through that gap (I put the front of the car up on rhino ramps). It was...

Just providing a 3 year update (39 month to be exact) on my lighting accessories. Here’s some pics of the rear bumper LED lights (in place of the OEM reflectors) and the lower front bumper led switchbacks (two rows of LEDs, but the photo doesn’t show that distinction). One of my more enjoyable...

    Funky Battery filler caps

It’s funny. I’ve changed every type of automotive fluid I can think off, yet have never (in 30 years of driving) never added water to my car battery. Clearly, it’s a “me” issue and something I probably SHOULD be doing…

Can you upgrade from Firmware 59.00.502 to 70.00.335C?

Yes. And didn’t you find the link on YouTube?

Can you upgrade from Firmware 59.00.502 to 70.00.335C?

Also, no need to install any of the older 70.xxx versions with the failsafe version as the newer versions remove the failsafe anyway. The 74.xxx versions were originally for the newer hardware (but NOT the "connected" infotainment systems). They were for the wireless CarPlay. Since then, the...
