car fixed, thanks for the help guys. got the oem bearing intalled and aligned for 200. not nearly as bad as i thought it would be.

Just talked to the owner of the shop, he said the bearing was shot.. glad you guys know what your talkin about. lol. he said the bearing was 80 bucks, anyone know where to get one cheaper?

I did notice the noise with the old wheels and tires it just wasn't as noticable, the new wheels are 16s. its at the shop now so hopefully they find the same thing.

Anyone???

Ill check it out, im takin the car to another shop in the morning to get a second opinion about what the problem may be. hopefully its nothing too dramatic.

its more of a 'wa wa wa' sound like a continous thumping sound, it doesn't make the sound as much when I turn slightly right but it gets pretty bad when I turn left. it didn't get bad until last thursday whben I put .ew rims and tires on the car, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

So i took the car to the shop to have it checked out, they told me it was probably a bent cv axle or a bad wheel bearing. The guy said there wasnt any play in the hub at all so im kind ruling out the wheel bearing. Has anyone else ever had a bent cv axle?? If so.. how were you able to...

u should have ordered a j-pipe not just the mid-pipe. if you pick up an obx header it should all work out
