(headshake..tsk-tsk..El Tres how could you oversee that beautiful work of functional poetry MSP known as Copperspeed?!
All wonderful examples so I'll have to peruse these candidates a bit more before casting a vote...
(headshake...damn shame that it tanked with such humble beginnings and optimistic hopes...hell there were no updated photos posted from Vegas or Hawaii & the photo thread's fallen off the radar as well...
That question's answer will vary by type of driver style, type of tires & pressure, mods etc. I keep my tires @2 PSI above the norm; average 33+ mpg on the highway running 80-90mph with the A/C no higher than '2' and moderate boosting to get clear of the rest of the cattle. City mpg is around...
I'm thankful your wife is safe as well. The after pics are sobering on what type of damage a 30+ MPH crash can inflict. It's always been obvious you took care of your car and she repaid the favor by protecting your loved one.
You said the MSP 'drifted' into the on-coming lane; guess the ABS...
could not resist...
srsly, you should be alright washing your MSP w/the CAI as long as you do not spray water into the intake while she's running or drive over standing water more than a couple of inches deep. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken please.

Damn good thorough write-up man! I'm just guessing but sounds like the water pump is your culprit. Can you get one from the scrapyard?
Try to PM 91protegeDX as he's just about re-built his engine x2 IIRC..
as of today there's a total of 343 signatures (as relayed by my yard apes)
the shipping box provided by Sure Motorsports is out-FN-standing and many AZMC/RCCAZ/OPMC/AZmada3 members said so.
Here's my contribution:
The signature (thanks to my son Alex)
wunderbar! danke senor but they look kinda meaty to me meaning I'm not sure if it's the wider rim lip or tire sidewall that's filling in the wheel well.
