    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

I've come across a few posts elsewhere saying Platinum did cover it. I'd see if you could get something in writing that it would. They do say this for exclusion but a lot more going on inside than just the bulb. "Light Assemblies/Housingsand Light Bulbs including LEDs"

    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

In all honesty I would probably purchase a genuine extended warranty on anything new today. If you can get it for a cheap enough price 1 or 2 repairs will probably pay for it with current shop rates. Looks like a Powertrain only VSA...

    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

Timing cover weep/seep/leak isn't uncommon either. I just live with my minor seep/weep even though it was repaired once under basic powertrain warranty. That is probably the only thing I would have made them fix under an extended warranty. Nothing else required any post warranty dealer work...

I see the AT vent on my '15 2.5L. I think it is clamped to a heater line. Look just to the left of the battery.

    2017~2025 CX-5 Rear Differential Failure

The one in the trunk area is the intake. The exhaust vent for the diff is on the top of diff . I ordered one of these back in 2016 to confirm it was an exhaust only diff valve using some vacuum tests. On the top of rear diff somewhere.. think I located it in the day but can't remember now...

    2017~2025 CX-5 Rear Differential Failure

Probably terminates in similar areas as the ‘13-‘16.5 models. Former member hear with a ‘14 CX-5 IIRC… lost his diff from water intrusion.. TSB was unknown at that time years back.. he thought a water crossing but I think it was from a car wash I change my front transfer and rear diff on 30k...

    OBD Fusion Update

I was told in the past you had to double the percentage to get accurate distribution but maybe that is no longer the case

    2017~2025 CX-5 Rear Differential Failure

Anyone know where the diff vent terminates in the rear area of a 3 AWD? I wonder if there is a rare issue with a car wash that allows water in like the ‘13-‘16.5 CX-5 models? Reference...

    OBD Fusion Update

You can view rear diff engagement as well. Forscan being discussed here but you can also view with OBD Fusion/Link. Be sure to double the value shown to see correct percentage of engagement. https://mazdas247.com/forum/t/2016-cx-5-awd-system-questions.123878840/post-6772708
