How much is the subscription? Just got a new car and I've got this app but I don't recall anybody mentioning something about the cost of the subscription. Or maybe they did and I was too excited about the purchase and did not hear it. 🙄
Today I said good-bye to my "old" 2020 Mazda CX-5 PP and I said hello to my new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Turbo Premium. Pictures later, waiting for a sunny day.
There is nothing you can do, honestly. You just have to ignore it. There is nothing wrong with the car. It's the sunlight projecting on the sensor at a specific angle and upsets the system, causes the malfunction message. If the mechanic is honest, he should tell you the same thing. You're not...
I get the same messages when I drive into the sun at sunrise or sunset. It's just a glitch. When you get this messages you won't be able to use the adaptive cruise control.
When I first posted this, it was under the second generation CX-5 section. I believe that it was later moved by the admins under the Guide section. Sorry about that.
You will have to acquire a new SD card for your 2025. Every SD card pairs ( within the first 10-20 miles or so) with the car's VIN number so it's impossible to transfer it to a different car.
I’ve had something similar with the upstream sensor. Ordered from Rock Autos and it arrived with an extremely short harness. Eventually bought OEM sensor from dealership.
First step: I would suggest to send a private message to @Candurin, to help you with upgrading the software to 74.00.324.
And maybe, once you accomplish the software upgrade, look into the option of replacing the usb module with a CarPlay module.
I've been using NKG Laser Iridium for a while now and absolutely no issues. A lot of guys on this forum are using them, too.
If you live in United States, go to any O'Reilly Auto Parts store and buy these:

My car, 2020 model, shifts to 6th at 44-46 mph on the dot. Sometimes shifts at 43-44 mph only if I am driving on an incline, downward, but rarely. 44-46 mph is the norm. Manual mode driving, though.
