No no no Sliver IS faster. Yellow just looks faster sometimes. Kind of like when you put a coffee can muffler on a Honda. It gives you the illusion that its faster because it is louder...but it really isn't.
Intake and header are the best starter modifications. There is no reliable performance chip for our cars. Ebay chips are just a resistor modification that kills gas milage and does not work. MSP ECU if you have a manual.
I added s-techs about 30k ago and still have no issue with the stock struts though I know it would certainly perform better with a high end strut. The ride is stiffer but that is what I wanted. I have a back up set of struts for that day when the "dead strut rattle" presents itself.
I have long since fixed this to pass tech inspection but I needed a spacer for a battery hold down. Umm how about a house door jam thingy? It was left over in my toolbox. Chicks dug it. I think I may have posted this pic somewhere else.
If this is even legit....I hope you rechecked EVERYTHING. Make sure you didn't loose all your oil somewhere.(lol2) No oil in your motor may give you a slight decrease in performance. Oil fliter is on tight and the old filter still has the O seal on it. filler cap back on etc? What else was...
Anyone who gets more than an hour at a time to work on their car I am jealous of. May have been better flat instead of gloss but hey if you want to come to NM to do mine let me know.
I confess..and a little embarassed...I "played" around with this last year. Before I changed suspension and I was at stock height. The thought of having a short ram but still having cool air was interesting. I used a weapon R ram air scoop and their heavy duty "drier hose". I can't say I saw...
There is another RacingWouthwest.com event at Sandia Motorsports Park this Saturday September 11th. I wont be racing but I'll be out there with the kids. Anyone else going?
I guess it would be better if I said that if your other mounts are in great shape doing the side inserts will restrict movement pretty well. At least I would do those first. If need to replace your other mounts (like most of us have had to) you may as well go for a better aftermarket. have fun!
