TSB are country specific, but are often the same in Canada. The issue is the manufacturers notice are not easily accessible in Canada (to me anyway). So it is still to be confirmed if this applies to Canada or not. As a Canadian, I hope it does. If anybody knows it would be great to know.

I installed mine without tapping into any wires. If you get the right harness i believe the wire tap is only required if you want the function if having the light flashes during remote start, which I didn’t really care for.

The mazda muffler lasted 14 years in Chicago weather. That is why it is so expensive. But i agree it is overkill at that point, only buy what will last for the remaining life of the vehicle.
