any well-built FS with a full stand-alone set-up would be a good way to go. with DISI, the engine management options are limited right now. the cost would also be doubled, if not more.
the driveshaft is the only thing that you will have to worry about in this case, not axles. a good trans shop...
there is one boosted genII in the houston area that i know of. none of the MSP rotaries don't respond nearly as well to turbo as they do to supercharging though.
it can be done, but here are a couple of recommendations that i have;
1. use the FS motor instead. yes, the DISI 2.3 turbo motor is awesome, but you will have engine management issues if you go with anything other than the stock harness and ecu. there are piggy-backs, but those are nothing...
twm doesn't build a shifter for the rx7. your options are a corksport shifter, a modified miata shifter, a short shifter from mazdatrix.com, or a mazdaspeed shifter.
you can't really go wrong. i would recommend the shifter from corksport.com. they are extensive with their testing and...
hi eddie, I'm wes. I'm on the deer park/pasadena border. just sold my grey rx7 and I still have my white protege5 on grey rims. I'm sure that I will see you around town.
like the title says, i need the complete stock intake set up for a 2.0l protege. it has to have all of the ducting, the air box, etc. let me know what you guys have and give me detailed pics.
yeah, it will be going back to stock performance wise. I will still be keeping the appearance mods and I will still be doing electronics, etc. the car will be getting passed down to my step daughter in another year, so I am just prepping it a little.
i am only gauging interest here, so i don't have pics in this thread. i have a red aem short ram intake and an aftermarket mid-pipe i want to trade + cash for some stock parts.
for the intake, i need the complete stock intake set up with the air box, tubing, etc. i am open to trade offers. if...
haven't heard back on any of the pm's that i have dropped. you guys just let me know what you have. i am paypal ready and kind of in a hurry to buy. let me know please.
just like the title says, i am trying to source a stock exhaust manifold with the first cat intact. i am tired of fighting cracks in headers and i don't want to drop in solid motor mounts to stop the headers from cracking.
i have two headers right now, one repaired and one being repaired. if...
70 is too hot for the heater in my house. i like 68 when it's heating and 70 when it's cooling. that does put my electric bill at 200 or so in the summer, but i pay the bill to be comfortable.
the main thing about the cold here is the humidity. 60 degrees is jacket weather here. everywhere...
that's about where I thought it was. I have been to the east end of va and to norva. drove a little through the south where my friends family lives. harrisonburg sounded familiar from the drive we took last time.
