just had a read in a local newspaper,
I have no idea if this is true or not, they were testing the new 6 sedan and said at the end that the Mazda will not bring the wagon here and in the US because it is not meeting the strict north american standards for side impact.
Unfortunately for us in Canada, the US market is dictating what we get, there are some rare exceptions to that rules but still.
The market is clearly different, but our market is so small that we don't have any weight in the balance. I also do not quite understand the logic behind the...
I am ready!

cannot wait to see how th Cx-5 works in the snow, the Outlander s-awc was great, at least I had some control to decide and lock the rear, and the Subarus I had were just...
If you limit yourself to those 3, I would personnaly go with the gsi-5, but the g072 is well classified in test and is cheaper.
FredButeau had a good long post here:

and this might help...
would look great, if you want to have an idea of gloss black trim just look at the Cx-5 Prototype (minagi) before it was released, that car had piano black trim all around. It gives an idea.
as for the other choices...it is your car and nobody can argue with personal choices. As long as you...
excellent post Fred!
personnaly I went with the Hakka 7 studded. They are worth the price, they will also last 4-5 winters easily. But if you plan to go without studs, go with the Hakka R, this tire was designed to be studdless and is as good as the Hakka 7 in most of the situations. I...
the tires are just too small, 205 would need a ratio of 75 too fit, the rims probably fit, but you definitevely need to change the tires (there is a huge difference of almost 3 inches in total diameter with your setup).

Well Canada is not the problem for interest in wagons...... here we get what the US decides we get... that is our problem!
There is no lack of interest here for wagons! I got 2 wagons before the Cx-5...2 subarus, I just need AWD for our winter. The first 6 wagons was nice, but there was better...
for us we were looking for a wagon while shopping for a new car to replace the Outlander, but those are almost impossible to find in Canada-US (thanks to you guys in the US, apparently you don't want them ;) )
The Subaru Outback was an option, but what I wanted was a Legacy wagon not a car to...
the owner manual says 36psi front and rear for the 19", that is what I am using.
why use anything else ?
just checked for 17" it is 34psi front and rear. In Mexico, pressures are different depending if you are full load or not (more than 3 persons), they can go as high as 38F/42rear
I will measure it tonight,
my only complain is that the racks once on the rails are not level, there is a slight slope toward the rear. Nothing major, but i think the rear feet could be a bit taller to compendate for that.
Hi Schief,
I do the same as you, I use the front long tow hook, I have not found a better solution yet, it worked pretty well so far. I don't use any at the back.
