Looks good I have 15% in all back windows and 35% in front two. Backing up at night is no issue can still see good, back up cam helps a lot I aint gonna lie. Wish I had the balls to do it like that. I know states govern their own tint laws and can pull you over but do they? a big fat no. Unless...
So I love the 19" OEM wheels and how they compliment the 6 in every aspect, wouldn't change them for the world (I did purchase a set of Andros N1 wheels for winter driving :) ) SO for the past year I drove around with the matte black plastidip, I loved the look especially after I would apply...
Nothing wrong with Plastidipping the wheels, I had them on my 6 for a year. They then started to peel around the lip area and looked horrendous. I really liked the black look but to keep them shiny I would put some tire shine on them every month or so but still wasn't enough.
The OEM wheels...
Most probably meant clearcoat man, he's in Holland so the English may differ :D . I bought our CX-5 at Faulkner Mazda in PA and they put these tiny individual white letter decals. Now that was a b**** lol sitting there trying to remove these tiny letters. Used a tiny bit of Goo Gone to remove...
Put 303 on the trim and tires 2 weeks ago had torrential downpours last week and a few rainy days and still the trim looks good. Tires may need another coat.
If anyone can find these or manufacture I would buy in a heartbeat for around $50-100

Not the $330 these guys are asking, it's friggin mesh how do you charge $330?!?
Looks great and you got a great deal!!! I took my 6's 19" wheels to a local shop Russian guy tried to get over and wanted $145 per wheel! I grew up hustlin :D As soon as he dropped the price I said have a good day and drove away. Still looking to get them done but most I will pay is $400 for...
Damn you have your GF as your Co-Mortgagor on a house? that is a bigger issue than the CX-5 my friend.
Look into selling it on Autotrader yourself, dealer will most probably **** you over like she did (or maybe it was the other way around, what do I know) just saying you'll get more money out...
Wouldn't trade my 19's for anything! they just make the already good looking CX-5 that much better. All those years driving with 15 and 16's this makes them look puny lol.
I think we all cleaned up this weekend :D same here took out the Dyson to vacuum up every little piece of stone and dirt lingering around the all weather mats. Washed down the mats with soap and my wheel brush. Finished off with a nice coating of 303 Aerospace Protectant on the whole interior...
From past experiences with all sorts of vehicles I've owned, Oil gauges served little to no purpose but the Temp and Battery gauges have helped me identify a few issues. Do I look at them constantly? not really but I do know where they usually sit and if I do happen to look and they are higher...
Thanks V8 and RedBaron for the great pieces of information and input for people like me who are not so knowledgeable in this field.
What speakers would you recommend over the factory ones using the headunit without the need for an amplifier? or would it not even make a difference? I have the...
Second winter in our CX-5 and it has performed much better than expected on the OEM Toyo 19" tires. Still really happy that we bought this car to be honest.
Try driving through Staten Island, NY like my wife does commuting and even with that our CX-5 has been excellent! getting great MPG as well for the traffic conditions and lights at every damn corner. Can't complain, drives great, comfortable, stylish. I use the Navigation consistently as I am...
