It's definitely closer with the 7.0 Seco ds to 60 with 93+ fuel -- confirmed this a few times. 87 and 91 octane will have the same performance (0-60 in about 8.0 seconds) but 91 feels smoother on the engine vs 87.
My 0-60 on 94 from Petro-Canada brings consistent 7.0 runs. This is without any...
For sure-- agreed!
They pressed it up to simulate the 'road' feel during the tests.
This was my resolution actually... Went through this a few years back, was just suggesting to the other member how to resolve his current problem. ☺️
Really, a rock driveway will cause these vibrations? 🤔
The service manager I dealt with asked questions and also tried playing the blame game.
I was able to 'convince him' by sending him a link to this forum where he read the experiences by a few others and decided to give it a try. I was also...
It's possible, I'll have to go back in to clean it and put in the new boots. Will try again, not sure if any rust particles may have helped. I think my Dremel should help clean the inside as well
Thanks 🙏
Makes sense.. I noticed a ridiculous amount of vibrations during the early morning drive after the car sat all night. The evening drive was better. Other thing I did was replaced the rest CV shafts which fixed 95% of the problem!
Hey guys.
I tried searching for this but nothing came up to this exact problem.
I ordered the z23 for my 2018 CX9 GT from rockauto. It came with new brake pad attachments and the guide pin boot (the rubber the both pins slide on, it's usually full of grease in a bottomless pit.
The upper pin...
Bump, any updates to this thread? I'm in need of another set of brakes at the 122k km mark. Second set of brakes, the first rotor and brake was done at any 60k kms done by the dealer.
What worked well for you guys??
It's not an even swap, the CX-90 costs more. To clarify, in suggesting he get back all of his cash (or as much as possible) and apply that to the CX-90.
I personally will try to split with the vehicle. Not worth the headache that may come up later on. Lol at options to minimize your losses, maybe Mazda will be willing to bridge the gap.
See if you can get into a new CX-90 with zero cost to you by giving them back the CX-9. Keep in mind, the...
Hey, been following your ups and downs so far with the JB4. Been deliberating if I wanted to do the same... I've got about 120k kms so it's a toss up at this point as I know the earlier models (2018 cx9 GT) are prone to coolant issues.
Is the difference in power worth it to you?
Can you post...

Do a search function, it'll come up quickly as well, I don't want to create duplicate work for the moderators, they'll have kittens :)
Goodluck, let us know how or if it gets resolved. 👍
Had the same issue, so did a few others. It was the rear CV shafts. Check out the other thread.

Yup, I posted a fulsome update, possibly in another thread. Coles notes is, replacing both my rear CV's 100% fixed the vibration issues I was having. A few other CX9 owners reported this fix for them as well. I can't take the credit as someone else (smike?) suggested it I think... but demand...
Hey, my issues with vibrations were solved after the dealer changed both rear CV shafts. A couple things to note, I have xice 3 winter tires mounted on new rims that also experienced the same issues as the summer wheels. I also had both sets of wheels balanced on the hunter road force, which is...
