Hey guys, any write ups of replacing the front condenser that's attached to the radiator? 2018 CX9 GT. I replaced the H line from the compressor, still leaking.
Just an update, the hatch is really easy to replace. A few knobs to pull up and two screws to undo. The cable will need to be put back. It was a broken spring. No biggie, easy fix.
Doesn't really surprise me as the rear brakes in these cars are said to grab first on sight initial contact to minimize front dip sensation during normal driving.
My personal experience is I needed to replace the rear will before the fronts, the fronts had another 40% live easily at the time...

It was cheaper than the OEMs from Mazda and they grab better, much much less brake dust, little if no rusting on the rotors, no squealing of any kind. The Powerstops went on without an issue, just watch the rubber boot bushing.

If you're not sure about doing it yourself, watch a few videos and get to it-- really one of the easiest things to do.
