Approaching 60k miles on my 14 Touring AWD. Haven't had a single issue. I bought it in Feb of 2014 as a CPO with 9900 miles and it's been completely trouble free so for. My daily commute is about 40 miles round trip and a combination of city & highway driving.
55k miles on my 2014 Touring and absolutely no problems. I'm OK with the Bose sound system and the factory nav is OK (I use Waze most of the time). Bluetooth works well enough. The only thing I've done is put Conti Truecontacts on at 48k miles. That made a huge difference! My only issue is...
That's the only other real complaint I have. I'd like to be able to adjust the thigh height independent of the butt height.
Otherwise I really enjoy the car. The AWD is nice in the winter. It's not quite up to Subaru's AWD, but it gets the job done.
Yeah... it's been suggested before. But I am very careful because of how much it p*sses me off! I've read about this (possibly in this forum?) occurring with others.
So in Feb of 2014 I bought a CPO 2014 CX-5 Touring in that electric blue. It had 9900 miles and after market Katzkin leather. I asked the dealer - Suburban Mazda of Farmington Hills, MI - to add heated seats and the nav option. I paid $24500 for the car. The CPO warranty extended the...
I just bought one like the Lisle 28600 Disc Brake Piston Tool from Autozone and it was $12. Well worth the money. I wish I had one of these years ago. Just snap it on a ratchet extension and "turny, turny, turny"!
I put the Conti Truecontacts on my '14 CX-5 Touring AWD in March. We got one or 2 decent snowfalls and they performed great! I think the ride is quieter, smoother, and better grip everywhere. My mileage hasn't really changed much. I'm probably going to put these on my wife's Pilot this fall.
I put Continental Tru Contacts on my 2014 Touring CX-5 this winter and have been very pleased with them. I'm in Michigan so the snow grip is great and the ride, handling, and low noise are excellent on the dry (or wet).
I just replaced the OEM Geolanders on my 2014 with the Continental True Contacts at 45k miles. I was down to the wear bars. So far with about 1000 miles on the Conti's I'm really happy. Ride is noticeably smoother and quieter.
I have aftermarket heaters from the same place that did the Katzkin leather and they have 2 settings - hot and flame! Plus, they heat up fast! The aftermarket works so much better than my previous Subaru's, and my wife's 2015 Pilot.
They also heat up your lower back.
I have a 2014 CX5 Touring with the Nav and Bose. My phone is a Galaxy S5 with 5.0 Lollipop, and my carrier is Verizon. I am able to use the Pandora function without issue over bluetooth.
So here's an odd question: Are the gear shift indicator letters supposed to be illuminated?
I've got a 2014 Touring with an auto trans. I looked down at the shift gate the other night and thought "shouldn't those letters light up?"
Are they illuminated, or am I just noticing now?
My 2014 CX-5 Touring has the Katzkin leather along with after market heaters. I love them! The leather is really nice, and the heaters work faster then any I've had before. My wife's 2015 Pilot don't heat as hot or quick!
My car was a CPO that the previous owner had the leather put in. I...
Hi everybody! Big Noob here! I've got a 2014 CX-5 Touring that has had the Katskin leather added (I love it!) and aftermarket seat heaters (great right now!). This was all performed through the dealer. Now I've got the power drivers seat - 6 way I believe - and the setting seems to "slip"...
