I bought the signature/turbo not to save gas but make sure I have permanent wrinkles as I age from smiling. I average 14-21mpg because a majority of my trips are locally (2 kids, 1 school, 4 sports and a half dozen hobbies between them).

Could also do what I did to my safe at home. Wired in some 12v led strip/tape lights and a magnetic switch.
Open the safe light turns on, close the door… You get it.
Should be least enough to tap into a nearby 12v power and ground, or run to inside fuse panel.
