Why would you need a box to hold a pair of skis? They don't need to be protected from the elements since they are in the elements when you ski a mountain.
Depends on the HOW you drive the vehicle. There is NO one size fits all for all CX5s. If you drive grades in a desert environment with sand and dust everywhere, I would change it at 5k miles. If you drive in moderate weather on flat lands, then one can go 7k-10k miles on the oil. Depends on how...
Anyone install this on their CX5?
It looks like it would work for a foot step to get access to the CX5's roof area. Both for loading on the roof rack or during washing the roof area.
It might help to prevent bumper damage in < 5mph collision since it would take the impact and not your bumper...
Exactly, the levels of moly in the Mazda oil is quite high, which is a good thing since moly flows at below freezing temps while other additives have a harder time. Moly additives helps prevent engine wear and has great flow ability.
Other synthetics would be fine also but moly is slightly...
Yes, Mazda puts in the moly oil at the factory. The moly helps with break-in on a new engine and was designed specifically for the SkyActiv engines.
At the dealership they don't use the moly anymore, they use bulk 55 gallon oil from Penzoil, it's synthetic but not moly.
In order to get the...
Even a sworn police officer could not use deadly force in such a situation because there is no justification for killing someone over a theft. As we have seen in the news, police officers are now facing criminal charges and prison time for taking peoples life without justification. Even other...
Anyone with the MMS, I wonder what would happen if you sat inside the vehicle (Drivers seat) and then activated the APP to start the vehicle. Once running, press the brake and shift into Drive. Would the car turn off?
We know if you activate the APP and open the car door, it turns off, BUT if...
The more I think about it, the MMS is probably the "safer" way to go with remote starts. It is still a new APP so that means it will be improved on and downloading a new APP is easy to do.
I am just not comfortable with aftermarket remote starts since there is a lot of hacking/splicing wires...
I stand on the key FOB thing. Mazda needs to reprogram it's ECM so that the vehicles SHUTS OFF when you get inside and hit the brake pedal without a key FOB in your pocket.
This is turning into a 2nd amendment/political type of debate. I don't want to get into a political debate but suffice it to say that most states would either charge you with a homicide/manslaughter type of charge or at a minimum bring your case up in front of a Grand Jury for indictment. Do you...
So it's 2 antennas, one on the right and then the one on the left?
I wonder if you use the Bluetooth function while driving does your cellphone use it's internal antenna or the Mazda installed windshield antennas?
The window antennas would be better since they sit high up and grab a better...
So at "port" means that when the Mazda comes off the ship at LA and is put into a shop where Mazda techs install the product?
So it's not like "port" install means some 18 year kid is installing it on your CX5??
I think the problem is with Mazda's programming. If the key FOB is not in the car then the car should turn off once you put your foot on the brake. That is how most of the other cars out there are programmed.
Can the MMS be installed at the factory in Japan if you are ordering a custom made vehicle?
I assume it can be installed at the factory in Japan if you ask them to before the car ships out on the carrier.
Would reducing rolling resistance (lighter rims and tires) make the car slightly faster and get better MPG? If so, then heavier rims and tires would decrease the cars speed and drop the MPG, right?
Anyone have a list of what the CX5's interior dome light, hatch light, and map/visor bulb #'s are?
Looking to get LED's installed but need the bulb #'s to match it correctly.
