Yea I generally stream stuff via Bluetooth but decided I'd at least give it a try. I think I may have gotten bad info as my dealer told that they do not talk with Sirius (which sounds right, why would a dealership bother?). The customer rep at Sirus prob didnt know what she was talking about.
Brought my '13 CX-5 last May. Didn't bother to active till today when I got something in the mail about a 6 month membership for $25.00 I said I wanted to try it for free first but was told by Sirius that they don't see the 3 month free promotion on their system and that I should call my...
I plan to fill up tomorrow - warming weather and the fact that there probably isn't any more winter fuel blends at the pumps should translate to better MPG's.
Don't use the roof mount racks. I highly suggest buying a hitch and mounting the bikes on the rear. Its safer in terms of not having to worry about scratchign up your roof and also reduces drag/improves MPG.
Look up "Curt" trailer hitches. Hopefully you can either sell or return the roof...
just get a second set of winter wheels/tires... why bother swapping/selling tires? U actually take a loss on selling used tires (even though the car is right off the ship).
Depending where you live and the climate conditions, I would wait and see till it gets warmer. I was avg. about 29-30mpg on my AWD with tech untill Nov of last year the MPG's started coming down prob due in part to winter fuel blends, cold weather starts and added traffic . Right now I am...
Invest in a good detail kit. i.e. random orbital buffer/pads and a good quality paint cleaner/sealant such as the Klasse twins (link below). This is far cheaper than what the dealer is offering.

I have tech package key so does anyone have an ebay seller link or can recommend a silicone or leather key fob cover? I looked on E-bay and all of them are for CX-7 or CX-9. Their keys look similar but not sure if it would fit perfectly.
Thanks in advance.
The frame rails underneath the middle of the car and the control arms are the safest bets in my opinion. I do recall a place that sold adaptors for jack stands that can fit into the pinch welds. Forgot the name of the site but a Google search should yield results.
I am attributing all the MPG issues to be related to winter fuel blends .
If you look at my fuelly record, you will see that my MPG's decreased in the fall. I drive my cx-5 daily for work and do errands on the weekend which involves mostly city driving. But I would expect to see better mpg.
I'm not taking it that hard but safe to say that until it happens to you will you realize how serious this can be i.e. having an 18 wheeler behind you suddenly do a hard stop withing a few feet of your car.
Of course I do understand that modern cars are massed produced and of course there are...
You are preaching to the choir. We had the same incident happen when my wife was driving on the highway. Now she is afraid that this phenomenon will occur again when I drive to work each day. I hope someone at Mazda is looking into this else we may have a major problem down the line (like...
We did do a restart. This incident occured while my wife was driving. I had her pull over and shut the car off. We got out and switched places. I started the car and the problem still showed up.
